Reminds me of the star size comparison videos I used to watch. My only gripe is that the Halo and Ark aren’t space ships, so they shouldn’t count.

They’re still constructs. Also, the rings have to have some form of propulsion in order to get from the Ark where they’re made to wherever they’re stationed, so I’ll call them ships.

But they’re built primarily as super-weapons.

I haven’t even heard of half of these.

Look at any American battleship and tell me that wasn’t built as a superweapon.

I’m assigning you homework.

I’d say the Death Star (both of them) are superweapons as well. But it’s still technically space ships.

Is this what it feels like to be in a sci-fi debate?

All the Star Wars and Star Trek I know. I know some of the Halo ones and some of the Mass Effect ones. Other than that, I have no idea.

I’ve seen more Family Guy Star Wars than actual Star Wars.

Welcome to the cage .

Well then you’ve got some homework yourself buddy.
But what was I actually supposed to do for mine?
![]() 12/07/2015 at 23:44 |

Halo lore to begin with.
![]() 12/07/2015 at 23:45 |

I love both Halo and Star Wars, so seeing them contrasted was interesting. That and I had zero idea the second Death Star was so much bigger than the first
![]() 12/07/2015 at 23:46 |

And how long is that one?
Also, re-watched the video and I have seen 2001 A Space Odyssey.

I’ve never watched Star Wars, I’ve always been more of a Star Trek fan. I’m also a big Halo fan though. I knew the Ascendant Justice was big, but not
that
big.

Halo lore is pretty deep.

I know. Games, a book series, and several movies. Aintnobodygottimefordat.jpg

Deeper.

You mean there’s more? Like what?

They’ve got a Mass Relay in there, too; honestly, it’d probably be easier to rename the video than excise all the things-that-live-in-space-but-aren’t-ships.

You’re not helping.

I can’t stand Star Trek in most guises, but then again, I saw SW first. It was nice seeing the Infinity compared to everything

No different than the deathstar.
![]() 12/08/2015 at 01:04 |

And now I find it more dubious that Old Man Han and Chewie can pilot Executor by themselves.
![]() 12/08/2015 at 01:05 |

Still not as big as Executor or that Independence Day saucer, but jeez. And Warhammer 40k is just beyond impressive. EVE Online, too. Massive spacecraft.

Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica FTW! But they left out Firefly and Farscape. :(
![]() 12/08/2015 at 01:27 |

They also left out Futurama.
I had no clue the Entierprise-D was bigger than the A.

I knew there was a size difference between the two Enterprises, but what I didn’t know was just how huge a Romulan ship was. Wish they’d included Klingon, Cardassian and Vulcan, too. But seeing the Borg cube was cool, though.

I was really laughing because, well...I watched the original mini-series. After you’ve seen it, any reference is cause to laugh.

This
is fantastic.

Oooooh. I’ve seen that before but I’d forgotten it exists. I need this in super duper huge poster size.
![]() 12/11/2015 at 02:43 |

Wait.. the second death star was twice the size of the first?... well that explains a few things the movies never bothered to mention... like how they flew the entire falcon into it... makes sense now.
